1999 printmaking

Mark has made a series of series of experimental prints,
initially launched by a commission for the large-scale images
of Waterloo Bridge shown here, made for Clare Morgan,
ex-Art Director of The Sunday Times and The TES.

The prints are cut ‘progressively’ from redwood-faced ply,
and printed on Japanese paper using litho inks of the
four process colours, mixed with extender for transparency.
Some prints have been bought by discerning international
collectors and some have not.
