The ultimate in intellectual chic is a wearable volume. Mark has produced
several books in cufflink and tie-pin format to fill this yawning sartorial gap.
Collaborating with poet Stephen Micalef, London’s own Bishop of Leisure
whose output has also included writing the good bits of punk fanzine ‘Sniffing Glue’,
Mark produced ‘Seven Summits’ as a set of one-inch-square cufflinks.
Hand-set in 6-point Modern No. 20 and illustrated with fourteen tipped-in etchings,
this limited-edition accessory came in two volumes, one on each wrist.
Collectors of this limited edition included the V&A on behalf of the National Art Library, and the piece is featured in issue 27 of Eye Magazine (see www.eyemagazine.com/feature).
